Garment shop billing software
that knows its sizes.
Kapda Stock is GST billing software for readymade garment and apparel shops in India. Every colour and size is tracked as its own variant, labels scan at the counter, exchanges fix stock and GST on their own, and a report tells you which size sets are broken before the customer does.

Where generic billing software loses a garment shop
A readymade shop is not a grocery counter with clothes on the shelves. Four things break first.
One kurta is twelve products
Four sizes in three colours is twelve stock lines. Software that tracks “Kurta: 12” cannot tell you that the size M in blue — the one customers ask for — ran out on Tuesday.
Broken size sets kill sales
When S, L and XL are in stock but M is gone, the rack still looks full and the sale still walks out. Nobody notices until stocktaking.
Exchanges are daily, not rare
A garment shop does more exchanges and returns than any other retail counter. Each one has to fix stock, the bill, GST and the customer’s balance without editing the original invoice.
Labels have to carry the price and GST
A rack label that shows size, colour, MRP, HSN and GST% — and scans at the counter — is the difference between a two-minute bill and a ten-minute one.

Every colour and size is its own stock line
A product carries variants — colour, size, pattern, design, model — and each variant has its own barcode, stock quantity and minimum stock. Sales, purchases and labels all work at variant level, so “Red / XL” is counted, sold and reordered on its own.

Print QR labels, scan at the counter, bill in seconds
Print a PDF of labels for any set of variants — shop name, product, brand, variant, SKU, HSN, GST% and the GST-inclusive price with a QR code. At the POS, scan with a phone camera or a 2-D scanner gun, apply a discount or coupon, redeem loyalty points, split cash and UPI, and print an 80 mm thermal bill.
Barcode labels and scanning →
Exchanges and returns that fix everything at once
Process a return against the original bill and the app adds the pieces back to the right variant, issues a numbered credit note, reduces the customer’s balance and keeps GST correct — without ever editing the original invoice. Partial and repeated returns on the same bill are fine.
How returns work →
See the broken sets and the dead stock before the season
The Reports hub has a Broken size sets table — products where some sizes are out while others still hold stock — plus dead-stock, ABC analysis, category performance and a low-stock reorder list. Every morning at 9 AM the low-stock alert tells you what to reorder.

Built for Eid, Diwali and the wedding season
Garment retail is seasonal, and the season is won before it starts. Import the new range with bulk import, print labels for every variant, set credit limits on the regulars who will ask, and schedule a festival offer to your whole customer list on WhatsApp. The festive-season stock playbook lays out the 30-day countdown.
When the rush ends, the udhaar recovery ladder collects the credit you extended, and the dead-stock report tells you what to clear before the next range arrives. Prefer to run it on your own computers? The On-Premise edition is the same product as a one-time licence.
Garment shop billing — common questions
Yes. Add the product once and create its variants — for example S, M, L and XL in three colours. Each variant gets its own barcode, stock and minimum stock, and shows on labels as “Red / XL”.
Yes. Print barcode labels from the Inventory screen — up to 200 at a time — as a PDF for label stock or plain paper. Each label carries a QR code; scan it with a phone camera or a 2-D imager scanner at the POS.
Record a return against the original bill for the pieces coming back — stock, a credit note and the customer’s balance are updated automatically — then bill the replacement as a new sale. The original invoice is never edited, so GST stays clean.
GST on garments depends on the sale value and changes with notifications, so you set the rate your CA confirms per product. Each bill then applies CGST + SGST or IGST from the customer’s GSTIN, and GSTR-1 / GSTR-3B summaries come from your invoices.
The POS is keyboard-driven, scans in one action, parks a bill when a customer steps away, and keeps billing if the internet drops — sales sync when the connection returns. Staff get their own logins and roles.
Growth is ₹349 a month or ₹3,499 a year and Professional is ₹599 a month or ₹5,999 a year, both excluding 18% GST. Every feature is in every plan; only the user, product and invoice limits differ.
