Coupons & referrals
Use a coupon code for a discount on your subscription, how coupon discounts and GST are calculated, and how the referral programme rewards businesses that introduce others.
Coupons#
A coupon from Kapda Stock gives a discount on a subscription payment — a percentage (sometimes with a maximum) or a fixed amount.
Where to enter a coupon#
- At sign-up — Coupon code (optional) on the Your account step. Coupon CODE is applied at checkout — the exact discounted amount is shown before you pay.
- On the activation screen — if your first payment did not complete, Enter coupon code on Activate your subscription before Continue to payment.
Codes are not case-sensitive.
How the discount works#
- The discount is taken off the plan price before GST.
- GST is then calculated on the discounted price.
- A coupon can never make a payment negative.
For example, a 20% coupon on Growth monthly: ₹249 − ₹49.80 = ₹199.20, + 18% GST ₹35.86 = ₹235.06 for that payment.
A coupon applies to the first period it is used on (for example the first month or first year); later renewals are charged at the normal price. A coupon is only counted as used once the payment succeeds — abandoning checkout does not use it up.
Coupon messages#

Referrals#
When one business introduces another to Kapda Stock, the referrer can earn free subscription time.
How it works#
- The new business signs up using the referrer's referral link (
/signup?ref=CODE) or types the code in Referral code (optional) at sign-up. - The referral stays pending until the new business makes its first successful payment.
- The referrer then earns a reward — one month free by default:
- on an automatically renewing subscription, as a credit refunded against the next successful renewal (with a credit note);
- otherwise, the current period is extended.
If the referrer does not have an active paid subscription at that moment, the reward is kept pending and can be granted later.
Getting your referral code#
Your business has a referral code, but the app does not currently display it on screen. Contact support to get your code and link.
