Razorpay (customer payments)

Connect your own Razorpay account so you can send customers payment links for their invoices, check whether they have paid, and have payments recorded — keys stored encrypted.

Connecting your own Razorpay account lets you collect invoice payments online: Kapda Stock creates a Razorpay payment link for the amount due, sends it to the customer, and records the payment once Razorpay confirms it. Money goes to your Razorpay account; Razorpay charges its own fees.

This is separate from your Kapda Stock subscription, which is paid through Kapda Stock's Razorpay account.

Connect your keys#

You need a Razorpay account with Payment Links enabled. Generate API keys in the Razorpay Dashboard. Test keys (rzp_test_…) create test links; live keys (rzp_live_…) collect real money.

Owner or Admin:

  1. Open Settings → Razorpay keys (your customer payments).
  2. Enter the Key ID and Key secret.
  3. Optionally enter a Webhook secret.
  4. Click Save keys.

The badge changes from Not configured to Configured. Keys are stored AES-256 encrypted and never displayed again. Leave a field blank to keep its current value.

Collect a payment#

  1. In Invoices, choose ⋯ → Razorpay pay link on an issued, unpaid invoice.
  2. The link is copied to your clipboard and, if the invoice has a customer, sent to them by WhatsApp and SMS.
  3. When the customer says they have paid, choose ⋯ → Check payment. If Razorpay reports the link as paid, the payment is recorded on the invoice automatically.

Details: Invoices → Collect online with a Razorpay link.
