Invoicing settings
Set your UPI ID for payment QR codes, the invoice number prefix, format and sequence digits, the default invoice template, and the loyalty points earn rate.
Settings → Invoicing controls how bills are numbered and what they carry. Owner or Admin.
Fields#

| Sequence digits | 1–10 — how many digits the running number is padded to. Default 4. |
| Default template | Which invoice template new invoices use. |
| ⭐ Loyalty points per ₹100 | 0–100 (0 = off; 1 point = ₹1 at redemption). |

Number format placeholders#
The form previews Next invoice will be … as you type.

Examples: {PREFIX}-{FY}-{SEQ} → INV-2026-0042; {PREFIX}/{FYSHORT}/{SEQ} → INV/26-27/0042.
- Quotes, sales orders and credit notes reuse this layout behind their QT- / SO- / CN- tag.
- The sequence restarts every financial year (April–March) and is never reused, so changing the format does not renumber past invoices.
UPI QR#
With a UPI ID set, receipts and invoice PDFs show a QR code that opens any UPI app with your UPI ID, the invoice total and the note Invoice INV-…. The 15-day udhaar reminder also includes a UPI link. See Printing & PDF.
Loyalty points#
With an earn rate above 0, a named customer earns floor(bill total ÷ 100 × rate) points on each POS sale, and can redeem points at ₹1 each. The customers list shows a ⭐ Points column, marked (off) when the rate is 0. See POS billing.
Error messages#
| Message | Cause |

| UPI ID must look like name@bank | Check the UPI ID. |
| Prefix must be 2-8 uppercase letters/digits | Shorten or simplify the prefix. |
| Format may use letters, digits, / - _ . and the {TOKEN} placeholders | Remove other characters. |
| Sequence padding must be 1-10 digits | Pick 1–10. |
| Earn rate must be 0-100 points per ₹100 | Lower the rate. |
