Kapda StockDocs

Prerequisites

What you need before signing up — a device and browser, an Indian mobile number, your billing details, and optional counter hardware.

Kapda Stock runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install on a computer. Here is what to have ready.

A device and a modern browser#

  • Desktop or laptop (Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS) — best for setup, reports and bulk work.
  • Tablet or phone (Android or iOS) — fine for billing, stock checks and customers. The layout switches to a bottom tab bar on small screens.
  • Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. Chrome or Edge is recommended on the billing counter because they support the one-tap install banner and the camera barcode scanner without extra steps.
  • Allow the browser to use the camera if you want to scan barcodes or QR codes with a phone or webcam.

Details you will be asked for at sign-up#
