Install as an app (PWA)

Put Kapda Stock on your phone's home screen or your computer's taskbar so it opens full-screen with one tap, like a native app.

Kapda Stock is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Installing it adds an icon to your home screen or desktop; it then opens in its own window without browser address bars. It is the same app with the same data — there is nothing to download from an app store, and updates arrive automatically.

The install banner#

After you sign in, a small Install Kapda Stock card appears at the bottom of the screen on browsers that support installation:

  • On Chrome, Edge and Android it says Add the app to your home screen for one-tap access with an Install button.
  • On iPhone and iPad it says Tap the Share button, then "Add to Home Screen".

Tap the ✕ to dismiss it. The app remembers the dismissal in that browser and does not ask again; use the manual steps below instead. The banner never appears on the public website or the login page, and it does not appear once the app is already installed.

Installing manually#

  1. Open /app in Chrome or Edge and sign in.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow), or open the browser menu (⋮) and choose Install Kapda Stock / Apps → Install this site as an app.
  3. Confirm Install. Kapda Stock opens in its own window and is added to the Start menu, dock or app launcher.

Uninstalling#

Remove it the way you remove any app: long-press the icon and choose Remove / Uninstall on a phone, or right-click it (or open its window menu) on a desktop. Uninstalling does not delete any business data — everything lives in your cloud workspace. Sales queued offline on that device and not yet synced can be lost with it, so sync first; see Offline mode & sync.
