Notifications & announcements
What appears in the notification bell, how to mark items read or clear them, and which alerts reach you by WhatsApp or email instead.
Kapda Stock tells you about things in two ways: the notification bell inside the app, and messages sent to the owner's WhatsApp and email.
The notification bell#
The bell sits in the header on every screen. A red badge shows how many unread notifications you have (up to 9+). The list refreshes about once a minute while the app is open.
Click the bell to open the Notifications panel:
- Each item has a title, a message and a level — information, success, warning or critical.
- Clicking an unread item marks it read for you.
- Mark all read clears the badge without removing anything.
- Clear all removes the items from your bell. Other members of your team still see them until they clear their own.
- When there is nothing new you see You're all caught up 🎉.
The bell carries announcements from the Kapda Stock team — for example planned maintenance, new features or a message specific to your business. Announcements can expire, after which they disappear on their own. Read and cleared status is tracked per member.
Alerts sent to the owner#
Operational alerts go to the business's registered phone and email rather than the bell:

The daily summary is sent through your business's WhatsApp connection; see WhatsApp.
Billing banner#
A subscription problem is also shown as an amber banner across the top of the app — Payment failed or Your subscription has expired — with a button to fix it. This banner is not dismissable because it affects the whole team's access.
