Inventory valuation
What your stock on hand is worth right now — total value, units and SKUs, value by category and the most valuable products — and how the cost is worked out.
Inventory Valuation — Current stock valued at moving-average cost — at /app/reports/inventory-valuation. It is a live snapshot, so there is no period to choose.
Tiles#

Charts and table#
- Stock value by category — products without a category are grouped as Uncategorised.
- Products by stock value — Product, Category, Stock, Unit cost, Value, most valuable first.
Which cost is used#
This report values stock at each product's moving-average purchase cost — the cost that is re-averaged every time you record a purchase or receive a PO.
Empty state: No stock on hand.
