Roles

The five roles in Kapda Stock — Owner, Admin, Manager, Salesman and Cashier — what each can see and do, how they appear on the Team page, and which to give to whom.

Every member of your business has one role. It sets the most they can ever do; a module access matrix can narrow that further, section by section.

Choosing roles#

  • Yourself — you are the Owner. Turn on two-factor authentication.
  • A partner or trusted accountant — Admin (Full access).
  • Shop manager, senior salesperson, cashier who bills — Manager (Read & write), narrowed with the matrix if needed.
  • A helper who only checks stock or prices — Read only.

Every active member counts towards your plan's user limit — 3 on Growth, 5 on Professional.
