Module access matrix
Decide section by section what each team member can see or change — No access, View, or View & edit — with presets, bulk buttons, admin-scope warnings and immediate effect.
The module access matrix sets, for one member, each section of the app to No access, View or View & edit. Owners and Admins manage it on Team & Access, either when adding a member or with Edit access.
Presets#
Start from a preset, then set any section individually.

New members start on Read only — the most conservative preset. Change any single cell and the member shows as Custom access.
The matrix#
The table lists every section with three choices per row. Above it, N of M sections shows how many are granted, with bulk buttons Grant everything, View everything and Clear.

How the matrix and role fit together#
- The matrix can only narrow what a role allows; it never lets someone past their role's limits.
- Saving a matrix sets the member's role to match it: View & edit on an Admin section → Admin; View & edit anywhere else → Manager; otherwise → Read only (Cashier).
- Hidden sections disappear from the member's menu. If they reach one anyway, the server refuses: You do not have access to this section. Ask an administrator to grant it. or, on a View-only section, You have view-only access to this section.
- Recycle bin, notifications and support are not controlled by the matrix.
When it takes effect#
Immediately for new logins, and within about a minute for anyone already signed in — they do not need to sign out.

Rules#
- You cannot change your own access: You cannot change your own access.
- The Owner's access cannot be changed: The owner's access cannot be changed.
