Attendance, leave & pay
Members check themselves in and out and apply for leave from My work; the owner approves leave, corrects attendance, sets the shop closing time and sees salary slips — all in Team Members.
Attendance, leave and pay belong to each team member — there is no separate employee record. Which of these a member uses is set by their Employee features switches.
For members: My work#
Members with any employee feature switched on see My work in the menu, and a Today card on their home screen.
- Check in / Check out — one tap each, once a day. The time is saved; nothing else.
- Attendance — the month as a calendar: present, half day, absent, leave and Sundays.
- Leave — balances for Casual, Sick and Earned, and a form to Request leave (type, dates, reason). Unpaid leave has no balance and is deducted from salary.
- Salary slip — any past month.
- My sales this month — sales against target, commission earned, paid and due.
The Owner doesn't use these — they run the shop.
How a day is counted#
- Sunday is the weekly off.
- A working day (Monday–Saturday) since the member joined, with no check-in and no approved leave, counts as Absent and is deducted on the salary slip.
- If Check-in / check-out is switched off for a member, no attendance is tracked: no automatic absents, full salary unless someone marks days by hand.
- Anyone still checked in at the shop closing time is checked out automatically, and the day is flagged Auto checked out for review.
For the owner: Team Members tabs#
| Tab | What you do |
|---|---|
| Attendance | See who is in today, then any member's month. With Correct attendance, tap a day to set Present, Half day, Absent or Leave and the times. Every correction is logged with your name. |
| Leave | With Approve leave: approve or reject requests, and Add leave for a member (approved at once). |
| Settings | Shop closing time (default 9:00 PM) and paid leave days per year. Admin or Owner only. |
Nobody can approve their own leave or correct their own attendance — it always needs someone else.
Salary slip#
Basic is 60% of monthly salary, HRA 30% and transport 10%. Deductions are PF (12% of basic), professional tax, and (absent days + unpaid leave days) ÷ working days × basic.
Commissions#
Set a member's Commission % and Monthly sales target in their Employee features. A sale credited to them at POS earns commission; Admins mark commissions paid from Reports.
