Bulk payment reminders, offer broadcasts (now or scheduled), festival greetings, your own message templates, Canva banner templates and the combined WhatsApp/SMS message history.

Messages (/app/messages) — WhatsApp, SMS and email — plan quotas enforced, bulk sends limited to 3/hour — is where you message many customers at once. Open it from WhatsApp → Bulk campaigns & templates →.

Bulk sends need the Manager role or above.

Bulk payment reminder#

WhatsApp + SMS to every customer with an outstanding balance. Click Send reminders now. Each customer gets a reminder with their outstanding amount; a summary shows how many were sent, queued, blocked or failed.

For a gentler, automatic approach that escalates over time, use the recovery ladder.

Offer broadcast#

  1. Type the offer — for example Flat 20% off all shawls this weekend (5–500 characters).
  2. Leave the date and time empty to send now, or pick a date and time (IST) to schedule it — the every-minute cron dispatches it.
  3. Click send.

Each customer receives Hi (name), special offer from (your business): (offer). A scheduled time must be in the future.

🎊 Festival greetings#

Upcoming festivals are listed with preset dates — Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, Eid-e-Milad, Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas, New Year, Holi, Eid al-Fitr and others. Adjust the date if the local moon-sighting differs.

Click schedule on a festival to queue a 9:00 AM IST greeting to all customers on that date — (emoji) (Festival) ki hardik shubhkamnayein! Is khushi ke mauke par humari taraf se aapko aur aapke parivaar ko dher saari badhaai. 🙏. The festival then shows ✓ Scheduled. Dates in the past are refused: Pick a future date for (festival).

The latest messages across channels — Channel, Template, Recipient, Status, Sent (IST). Empty state: No messages yet.

✍️ Template editor#

Message templates are reusable texts with {variables} such as {customer_name}, {amount}, {invoice_no}, {due_date} and {business_name}.

  • Built-in templates (marked built-in) are used by the app's automations and cannot be deleted.
  • Your templates: enter a name (template_name — 3–50 lowercase letters, digits and _), choose the channel, write the text (Hi {customer_name}, … use {variables} freely) and click Save template.
  • Preview shows the text with sample values (for example Bashir Ahmad, 15/07/2026, Demo Textiles).
  • Delete asks Delete template "name"?.

Your templates appear in Prefill from a template… when sending a custom WhatsApp message.

SMS#

SMS is sent through the platform's SMS gateway (MSG91, with Twilio as a fallback) when the platform has it configured. Invoice dispatch, payment links and bulk reminders send SMS alongside WhatsApp.
